Change the skin material using wax iron:

take it then away for instance using knife to start from one end
clean the hole of ”old glue” with wax remover and let it dry
put a bit quick glue on the top end of the hole
take away protective tape from skin and put in carefully in right place on the hole
pull two times slowly with heated wax iron through the new skin
